you can use HTML version of gmail rather than Standard version if you are having problem with your slow internet connection. you can access the HTML version directly for login from this url:

http://mail.google.com/mail/h/

Trick-2

but theres another trick. for super fast loading use the mobile version of gmail in your computer. its url is quite easy to remember:

http://m.gmail.com

its a lo-fi version of gmail with all the necessary working tools. moreover once you login you will find option to use HTML version at the bottom.

So be happy with a quicker Gmail now.

Want to use an on screen keyboard? Well it is this simple - Click on the start button and select run. Then type in osk in the box and click OK.

This is how it works.
Open firefox.
In the URL field type about:config and press enter.
Find the key called keyword.URL and double click it. Give your search engine query or url and its done.

How to get the url?
Here is how i get.
Say for example yahoo search you want for default browser.
-->Go to Yahoo.com
-->In the search field type any single word and enter. i gave HI
-->If you see the URL you get something like this.. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=HI&...p=mss&ei=UTF-8
--> if you see you can find something like this http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=HI&fr=y
--> copy till HI.. so you get http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=
--> copy it and paste it in keyword.URL and yahoo! you default search changed to yahoo..

Similarly if you want live search just paste http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q= and you are done.
For changing back to default google.. paste http://www.google.com/search?btnG=Google+Search&q=
or this if you want I AM FEELING LUCKY feature of google to work!

Yaps! Me and my friend wanted to have gtalk login at the same time in the same computer. Idea was to use the gtalk browser and then open two browser for each of us.. but suddenly we thought of finding out a way to get multiple login at gtalk and here is it..

Let me know if you like it!

1. Create a gtalk shortcut on the desktop.
   
2. Right click that icon and select properties and then in the target place u will see something like this. ""C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe" /startmenu"
3. Rename it as""C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe" /nomutex"\
4. click apply and OK.

Thats it! Clicking on the shortcut will let you open multiple login gtalk!

Before i proceed let me ask you a question.

Remember this is for your office computer or the computer where you want a auto gtalk kill.
Once you download just extract it in any drive.

Now for XP users:
Go to control pannel --> Scheduled Task --> Add scheduled task.. Click and follow the steps. Where it asks for application point it to the file you download. Give a time which you will be out of your office. Also don't forget to put your user credentials. And make it a daily schedule. That's it.

For vista User:
Click on Start button and type in search as "schedul" click on the scheduler.
Now once the Task Scheduler is open on the right hand side you will see "Create Basic Task" Click on it. The task scheduler will open.
Name: Give anything (Gtalk kill)
Description: Any description
Task to start: Daily
Start time: Time you will be out of your office
Action: Start a program
Program: Browse to the file you downloaded
And press finish in the next screen and forget it..

Next time it will never ever happen that you will have 2 instance of gtalk running.
If you usually forget to log off your gtalk at home then use the same method for home also.
