What's it about??:
1. Create a .bat file
Open Notepad and copy-paste the following data in it.
Quote:
cd %1
dir /a /b /-p /o:gen >C:\filelist.txt
start notepad C:\filelist.txt
You can edit the path to your preference.Now name this file anything you wish and save it anywhere you wish.
2. Make file visible in right click context menu.
After this tutorial,an option will be available whenever you right-click any folder which will display all the files and sub-folders inside that folder and save it to a text file.

3. Congratulations!! You are done with the tutorial!!.Now right click any folder and select Generate File Listing.A text file will be created in your C:\ drive [or any path you specified in the .bat file.] called filelist.txt which contains list of all files and sub-folders in the parent folder!
Change the default address field search for firefox
Actually i faced this problem after installing DAP. My default address field search changed to some speed bit search and it was just a mess and i was not able to remove it so after doing some hunting got a solution!
This is how it works.
Open firefox.
In the URL field type about:config and press enter.
Find the key called keyword.URL and double click it. Give your search engine query or url and its done.
How to get the url?
Here is how i get.
Say for example yahoo search you want for default browser.
-->Go to Yahoo.com
-->In the search field type any single word and enter. i gave HI
-->If you see the URL you get something like this.. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=HI&...p=mss&ei=UTF-8
--> if you see you can find something like this http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=HI&fr=y
--> copy till HI.. so you get http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=
--> copy it and paste it in keyword.URL and yahoo! you default search changed to yahoo..
Similarly if you want live search just paste http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q= and you are done.
For changing back to default google.. paste http://www.google.com/search?btnG=Google+Search&q=
or this if you want I AM FEELING LUCKY feature of google to work!

How to create multiple login in gtalk!
Yaps! Me and my friend wanted to have gtalk login at the same time in the same computer. Idea was to use the gtalk browser and then open two browser for each of us.. but suddenly we thought of finding out a way to get multiple login at gtalk and here is it..
Let me know if you like it!
- Create a gtalk shortcut on the desktop.
- Right click that icon and select properties and then in the target place u will see something like this. ""C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe" /startmenu"
- Rename it as""C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe" /nomutex"\
- click apply and OK.
Schedule your Gtalk to Kill
Before i proceed let me ask you a question.

Start time: Time you will be out of your office
Action: Start a program
Program: Browse to the file you downloaded
And press finish in the next screen and forget it..
Next time it will never ever happen that you will have 2 instance of gtalk running.

How to delete[clear] recently viewed[accessed] files?
To remove the record of recently accessed documents, right-click Start, click Properties, and then click Customize. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Clear List. If you’re using the Classic Start menu, click Clear. Clicking Clear List empties the My Recent Documents folder. It dosen’t delete the documents from your computer.

How to hiding icons on the bottom of your screen?
By using this tip you can hide the useless icons on the bottom of your system screen (right end of the taskbar). Because some of the icons will useful for you on system tray area but may be others list of icons not useful for you so you can hide all extra icon very easily.
